Lambchop lectures on the topic of Love.

Lambchop Magoo will be addressing the burlesque aficionados at Madame Jojo's tomorrow night on the topic of Love. It will be thoroughly educational, and may or may not end in a vodka and pill induced coma.

All part of Chaz Royale's British Burlesque Invasion. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=143360457358&ref=mf

Here's a hint: ask for 2 for 1 at the door and 'twill be granted!

Lambchop in The Glitter Room at Bethnal Green Workingmen's Club, May 31

I b'lieve all the info you need is in this here graphic, but it might be too small to read on your iphone screen, you smug iphone-owning bastards. So here's a recap:

May 31, 8 quid, starts at 7, Bethnal Green Workingmen's Club, I'm on late, here's the facebook event: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=664292785&ref=name#/event.php?eid=84361201430

Many thanks to my fan "Beck" (probably not the alternative musician/Scientologist, but maybe!) for kindly reminding me that "it puts the schedule on its website."

Lambchop Magoo's Inexplicably Human Evil Twin Surfaces as a Stand Up Comedian

You can watch her right here:

She's funny, but she has a really annoying voice. And I'll bet she can't shimmy worth a damn!

Lambchop's Rules for her LBF gig at Madame Jojo's this Thursday

It occurs to me that punters may be quite drunk by the time I go on in the second half of the second show. I have therefore created a list of

Lambchop's Rules for Enjoying Her Work

1. Heckling is forbidden. I will cut you.
2. If you MUST make verbal outbursts, please refrain from the following:
"Show us your tits!" (Udderly lacking originality)
"Take it off!" (There may be some meta-stripping involved, but no major skin. Don't worry, it's the London Burlesque Festival... someone is sure to take it off... have you SEEN the logo?)
"Baaaahh!" (The sheer obviousness renders it unacceptable.)

3. Please discontinue your loud conversation with your neighbor about whether or not you will catch the last tube until I have finished. (You won't, by the way.)

4. Do NOT attempt to mount the lamb. She knows tai chi, and will kick your arse... very slowly.

Thank you and enjoy the festival Ladies and Gents!

Lambchop Magoo live in NEW YORK!

That's right, America... you get your first opportunity to worship at the altar of Magoo.

I'm appearing one night only at the Slipper Room,on Wednesday, March 25th at 10:00 PM. (doors at 8, for best seats get there by 9)

http://www.slipperroom.com/index.php

I'll be spending the day grazing in the lovely Sheep Meadow in Central Park... hoping to pull a few tails. (titter titter)

No, seriously, all ovine punnage aside, it ought to be one damn snazzy burlesque night. See you there!

The People Have Spoken

Lambchop Magoo has been selected to perform in the 2009 London Burlesque Festival, in a showcase on April 2nd at Madame Jojo's. Get your tickets soon, because this baby's selling out! (in an "all the seats will be booked" way, not a "corporate whore" way... though if there are any posh corporate gig bookers out there, do give me a buzz!)

And let's not judge the event too harshly by the somewhat tawdry logo girl... it'll be a class act by the time Lambchop Magoo and the other fine performance artists have had their say.

Late Showcase:*Burlesque Social Club
@ MADAME JOJO’S,
8-10 Brewer St. W1F

10pm-3am, Tickets £22.50

Tickets are on sale now, exclusively from TicketWeb

Glambchop Magoo at Komedia Brighton

Ok, minions, you called my bluff. I wasn't really going to hang myself from the Christmas tree... after all, there's so much to live for! For example:

The color of the sky at twilight.
The color of Stephen Fry at dawn.

The gleam in a lover's eyes.
The inadvertent scrape of a lover's toenails.

The smell of freshly mown grass.
The smell of freshly blown gas. (Ok, maybe that's not actually worth living for, but it rhymed.)

And of course: my upcoming appearance in Voodoo Vaudeville's DEAD GLAM at Komedia Brighton. To quote their PR:

Welcome to the world of voodoo vaudeville, where sinister figures stalk the shadows in a luscious never-never land of defiant performance, deviant theatricality, twisted cabaret, cruel yet tender comedy and cutting edge contemporary dance.

Frisky and Mannish (my faves!!!) and the Glam Chops are also on the bill... hells yeah!

Saturday, Jan 24, Komedia Brighton, 7:30
