Magoo Endorses Obama

Yes we do! In a not very clever attempt to insinuate that supporters of Barack Obama are unoriginal thinkers, merely following the herd, Republican t-shirt designers inadvertantly hit on a truth: Sheep will indeed vote for Obama in 2008. At least this sheep did. Now if you're lucky enough to be a U.S. citizen (What's that in my cheek? Oh it's my tongue!) please go out there and do the same.

Lambchop Magoo meets Stephen Fry and Manages Not to Piss Herself!

We breathed the same air! He spoke to me! His jumper was so utterly Cambridge! He said (AND I QUOTE!)

"Lambchop Magoo... how fabulous!"

I fully intended to propose marriage, or at least civil union, or at least that I have his babies via artificial insemination. Unfortunately this little lamb was so starstruck upon meeting her hero, all she managed was some maniacal sycophantic laughter, and a quick plug for her cabaret number devoted to Fry himself.

After my turn was over, and I had to let the sizable queue of other Fry aficionados have their turn to worship, I hid behind a book display and gazed at him as if he were a zoo animal for quite some time. I'd still be there, frozen in ecstasy, if my colleague hadn't politely suggested that perhaps I had better move on or risk being thought strange.

It was magical.

Thewhatworks Cabaret at Cosmobar OCTOBER 1

Hello my snuggly minions. After a brief hiatus from the stage so I could finish my godforsaken dissertation, Lambchop Magoo is now BACK in ACTION, starting tomorrow night at the lovely artsy-fartsy sounding THEWHATWORKS cabaret at:

The Cosmobar
Clerkenwell Road EC1M 5PS (Near Barbican tube or Farringdon)
8:00

You'll get a double helping of Lambchop, plus many other fine cabaret practitioners... I believe the theme is DayGlo Nights, so if you have anything garishly neon, by all means don it! I think I have a tutu that will do the thing nicely.

Bleeeeat!

"Lambchop Magoo hits the mark with her barmy mix of maths and striptease."-- Edinburgh Evening News

Here's a linkie poo to a very nice story about Sideshow. They found us sweet and charming. Clearly, they haven't seen me in the morning before my sencha.

Lambchop Magoo is so fast at maths her hooves are a cloven blur!

Fresh from the Fringe and Delighted for Duckie

Hello devoted Kebabertons! I just returned from Edinburgh after playing a week at Sideshow, as well as a great night at the gorgeous Bongo Club. It was fabulous to perform with such talented folks, everyone from Lady Carol & Kitten on the Keys, to the incomparable Scales of the Unexpected (I nearly wet my knickers!), Chrysalis, and many more. The Fringe is pretty darn intense, so I need a little nap time... about a week should suffice, which is perfect because that's about how long before I premiere a NEW PIECE at Duckie, at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern on Saturday the 16th of August. Doors are at 9:00 and I shimmy onstage around 11:30. There will be Fry. Oh yes.
